THE SALON PROFESSIONAL ACADEMY TITLE IX DISCLOSURE
GAINFUL EMPLOYEMENT
The Salon Professional Academy will adopt early implementation of the Gainful Employment regulations (2014) from the Department of Education’s June 28, 2019 Electronic Announcement. This includes early rescission of section 482 (c) of the HEA with regulatory changes to subpart Q and subpart R of the Student Assistance General Provisions at Title 34 part 668 of the Code of Federal Regulations. The Salon Professional Academy will be removing Gainful Employment disclosure templates from all materials, both paper and electronic, and will not be distributing templates to prospective students. In addition, The Salon Professional Academy will not provide Gainful Employment data for the 2018-2019 award year.
THE STUDENT USING TITLE IV FUNDS (FEDERAL FINANCIAL AID) PAYS BY THE PAYMENT PERIOD & ONLY RECEIVES TITLE IV FUNDS IF THE STUDENT IS MAKING SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS OR HAS BEEN PLACED ON ACADEMIC WARNING. IF AT ANY TIME TITLE IV FUNDING DOES NOT COVER TUITION, THE STUDENT IS RESPONSBILE FOR THE REMAINING BALANCE. THE PAYMENTS FOR THE COSMETOLOGY PROGRAM ARE DUE AT 30 DAYS AND 450 HOURS FOR THE FIRST ACADEMIC YEAR. ADDITIONAL FUNDS ARE DUE AT 900 HOURS & 1200 HOURS FOR THE SECOND ACADEMIC YEAR. PAYMENTS MADE BY THE STUDENT ARE DUE IN 10 EQUAL PAYMENTS (AT A MINIMUM).
THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS BASED UPON THE SPECIFIED START DATE OF THE STUDENT & ASSUMING THERE WILL BE NO EFC (EFFECTIVE FAMILY CONTRIBUTION) CHANGES FROM YOUR FAFSA.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS BASED ON THE AUDITING REQUIRMENTS OF OUR ACCREDITATION AGENCY, WHICH ARE CALCULATED AND REPORTED ANNUALLY ON NOVEMBER 30TH OF EACH YEAR.
